Diocese of Southern Ohio

The Diocese of Southern Ohio came to jump with an interesting concept. They had 72 churches that all needed to share information and operate on a flexible, maintainable network. We decided to put them into a WordPress multisite environment and developed multiple base themes, utilizing WordPress’s theme customizer, to reuse and customize across many different sites. The main site serves as a home for the entire Diocese and has the most extensive theme. I created a system for creating dynamic ‘page-builder’ type content editing. This allows the user to add multiple different types of content, such as a hexagon navigation menu, without having to worry about the awkward styling aspects of the WYSIWYG.
